Under vocational training, UDPAS has supported a child of a prisoner to take a course of her choice in saloon and hair beautification and she will be completing her course in three coming years. Training materials were provided to enable her finish the course.
Three more of our beneficiaries (all male) chose to do apprenticeship training in various fieldstone, one of them after completing his primary leaving exams opted for a life skills training in welding and by the end of this reporting year, our beneficiaries had started earning.

The second one opted for life kills training in saloon and hair beautification after completing his certificate of education and by the end of the year, he was retained and promoted as the assistant saloon manager.
This has really created a positive impact on this beneficiary in his life as he has been able to full fill his future dreams despite the fact that he loved hairdressing ever since he started his secondary education and that is the reason why he went and pursued hairdressing course.
